Homestay

Living with a Mexican family substantially enriches the language and cultural experience. It is surely your best choice if you would like to enjoy a total immersion in the Spanish language and Mexican culture.

We can guarantee that all accommodations are with middle to upper class Mexican families, personally known to us. All homes are clean and comfortable. We try to place each student with a family that matches his or her interests and age. Families serve as excellent hosts in the town and provide a comfortable and safe environment in which to assimilate to another country. Many students make lifelong friends with their host families in San Miguel.

Pricing

Housing with a Mexican family includes three meals daily:

• $40 USD per day for single occupancy
• $35 USD per day, per person in double occupancy

You are expected to pay your balance for your homestay to the family upon your arrival. Families accept cash payments in US dollars or Mexican pesos.
