These Terms of Service govern your use of the mexicospanish.com website and your enrollment in Spanish-language programs offered by Instituto Habla Hispana ("we", "us", or "the school"). By using the website or enrolling in our program, you agree to these terms.
To enroll in our Spanish-language program, you must complete the application form on this website. By submitting an application, you confirm that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
Your spot in a session is confirmed only after we receive your deposit. Submitting an application does not, by itself, reserve a spot.
Age requirements: students must be at least 13 years old. Students between 13 and 18 may enroll only when accompanied by an adult.
A deposit is required to reserve your spot in any session. Deposits are paid through PayPal, which processes the transaction under its own terms and privacy policy.
The remaining balance of tuition and any housing fees is due as indicated in the booking confirmation we send you.
Once we receive your deposit, all sales are final. Deposits are non-refundable, and we do not offer cancellations or refunds for any reason, including changes to your travel plans, missed classes, or early departure.
We strongly recommend that you confirm your travel arrangements before submitting your deposit, and that you consider purchasing travel insurance to protect yourself against unforeseen events.
If you book housing through us — including the Habla Hispana Residence, a homestay, or other arrangement — the same no-cancellation, no-refund policy applies once your deposit has been received.
Homestays are independent households that we coordinate with on your behalf. The school is not responsible for the conduct of homestay hosts or other third-party housing providers, nor for any issues, disputes, or damages arising during your stay with them.
You are solely responsible for your own safety, health, and conduct during your travel to and stay in San Miguel de Allende and Mexico generally. This includes, without limitation, arranging your own travel, lodging outside of school-arranged housing, transportation, medical care, and travel insurance.
You are also responsible for complying with all applicable Mexican laws and immigration requirements.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Instituto Habla Hispana, its directors, employees, and contractors are not liable for:
The school's total liability to you, in any case, is limited to the amount you have paid to the school for the session in question.
We expect students to treat teachers, staff, classmates, and homestay hosts with respect. The school reserves the right to dismiss any student whose conduct is, in our sole judgment, disruptive, unsafe, illegal, or otherwise incompatible with the program. No refund will be issued in the event of dismissal.
